After 34 years of working for basic fairness for all Oregonians and their families, Oregon has taken a historic step forward by passing two basic fairness laws--one banning discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity, and one creating Domestic Partnerships. After so many years of struggle, we are now poised to end discrimination against and provide security to gay and lesbian Oregonians and their families. Now Oregonians must ensure that both of these laws stay laws.

A group of vocal and organized opponents are collecting signatures to overturn our new laws. These opponents don't represent the values of most Oregonians... but they shouldn't be underestimated.
