Update: BRO motion to intervene in Lemons v. Bradbury is granted
On Wednesday, attorneys for Basic Rights Oregon filed a motion to intervene in the Lemons v. Bradbury lawsuit. This morning, we learned the the judge has granted our motion. Basic Rights Oregon will now have standing in the case, enabling us to ensure that the voices of hundreds of families and committed couples are heard before the court.

This is wonderful news in spite of the reason for having to do it. Please let all of us know how we can all lend our voices.

In laymens terms, what exactly does this mean? Will we have an an actual voice during the legal proceedings?

It means that our attorney can sit with the state’s
attorneys in the courtroom and be much more involved
in the case.
