Oregon: Anti-Equality Groups Losing Ground?
Just Out staff writer, and local blogger, Stephen Marc Beaudoin, released the first installment in a series of reports regarding “the death of the anti-gay movement.”
“If the Lemons vs. Bradbury 9th Circuit Court of Appeals case doesn’t land the Oregon Family Fairness Act on the ballot, this Nov. 4 will be only the second Oregon presidential election cycle since 1984 that doesn’t include an anti-gay measure on the ballot.”
This cautiously optimistic feature is testament to the hard work from pro-equality groups and encouragement for Basic Rights Oregon and our allies to keep up the hard work.

I had no idea that it had been more than 2 decades
that we have been seeing anti-gay measures on
the ballot in OR! WHEW! I thought we were a
“blue state”… Hoping that all your hard work
will pay off and our new equality laws will NOT
be up for a vote in November!
