Oregon represents at the DNC

Oregon resident and Basic Rights Oregon supporter, Laura Calvo, is attending the Democratic National Convention as an elected delegate from Oregon. As a board member of the National Stonewall Democrats, Laura comes to the convention well versed in LGBT politics.

This year marks the largest number of LGBT delegates in history! Laura mentions on her blog for Just Out that if the LGBT caucus were a state it would be the third largest at the convention. Only New York and California would be bigger.
