Oregon couple weds in California

Share |

Eugene Garrison and Dan Harms of Merlin, Ore., wed in a small ceremony in Colusa, Calif. on Tuesday of this week. Garrison, a nurse who once worked at the Colusa Regional Medical Center, explained that this was a day he had always “dreamed would happen but thought would never come”.

The Southern Oregon couple traveled to the small town on the Sacramento River for their nuptials after California began offering marriage to committed same-sex couples back in May. This right could be stripped, however, if Prop. 8 passes in California.
