Transgender Justice Fellowship
Basic Rights Oregon seeks one part-time Transgender Justice Fellow beginning in November 2009 and continuing through November 2010. The Transgender Justice Fellow reports to the Field Manager.
The Transgender Justice Fellowship is an entry level, organizer-in-training position. The Fellow is responsible for building and mobilizing diverse volunteer teams, planning and executing volunteer trainings, and working to support a campaign for accessible health care for transgender Oregonians. The position will involve regular in-state travel and will receive significant support in developing and carrying out their work.
Part-time, hourly wage.
HIRING TIMELINE
Applications are due by Monday, November 9th at 5pm. Applicants will be contacted starting on Tuesday, November 10th to schedule interviews. Application should include a cover letter, resume, and names and phone numbers of three references.
