Marriage Matters to Me

Lemons v. Bradbury: Resource page

In a shocking move, a federal judge issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) which postpones Oregon’s Domestic Partnership law from going into effect on January 2, 2008 as scheduled.  The restraining order blocks the law pending a February 1 hearing to address the plaintiff’s complaint in Lems v. Bradbury that election officials should have reconsidered invalidated signatures submitted in a failed referendum attempt in September.

Basic Rights Oregon is working around the clock to prepare for the February 1st hearing.   Check back often for more information on how you can get involved.
