Margot has been in Portland since 2014 and has spent her time here continuing her decade-long commitment to LGBTQ and reproductive health issues. She loves working with badass, committed people who are doing their best to make the world safer for those who traditionally haven’t had a seat at the table. She believes that development is a form of activism and supports a community-centric approach to fundraising. In her previous role at Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette, she discovered her love of movement building through connecting like-minded local businesses to create long-lasting change. Margot also currently serves as the Board Chair for Bridging Voices LGBTQ and Ally Youth Chorus. In her spare time she loves trying to find her next favorite dive bar, collecting as much sequin-adorned clothing as possible and dreaming of the perfect dog that she’ll get once she’s not so busy. EDIT: She’s found her perfect dog and her name is Ginger. (Pronouns: She/her)
