Our statewide leadership summit will be held this year on Saturday, October 7 in Eugene. This all-day event will be your opportunity to meet with hundreds of LGBTQ and ally Oregonians from around the state, attend organizing workshops, and get the skills you need to become a leader in your community.

Saturday, October 7
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Unitarian Universalist Church of Eugene

Registration: $20

With the constant attacks on our progress for LGBTQ equality and the growth of White Nationalism in Oregon, our 2017 Statewide Leadership Summit will feature a update on the legal landscape from Mat dos Santos, Legal Director of ACLU of Oregon. Basic Rights Oregon Co-Executive Directors Our Nancy Haque and Amy Herzfeld-Copple also will provide an update on our work in Oregon.

And of course, you won’t want to miss this year’s special guest speaker, Jennicet Gutiérrez!

There will be two blocks of workshops to choose from, in the morning and afternoon. When you register, you’ll have the chance to choose which workshops you’d like to attend.

Schedule:

  • 9:00 – Registration opens
  • 10 to 11 – Opening session with Jennicet, Nancy, and Amy
