 Thank you everyone who attended our 20th Anniversary Oregonians Against Discrimination Business Luncheon! We saw nearly 600 business and community leaders gather at the Oregon Convention Center in support of LGBT equality. The program was full of memorable moments – from the presentation of the 2013 Equality Advocate Award to Oregon Health & Science University to the inspiring call to action from Mayor Charlie Hales asking all businesses to endorse the freedom to marry campaign!  Portland Mayor Charlie Hales at our 2013 luncheon We are so moved by your dedication to Basic Rights Oregon and pleased to report that we raised over $162,000 to support our work this year – Our thanks go out to each and every donor for this incredible generosity! At the luncheon we introduced a heartfelt new story and video – Ben and Paul, a loving, committed couple who talk about why marriage matters to them and to all LGBT couples and families across the state.
