Our Families Two Spirit Video Premier
November 12, 2012 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Please Join us for the premiere of the Our Families Native American Two Spirit Video.
The video was created to help raise the visibility and highlight the personal trials and triumphs of LGBTQ Native American Two Spirit people sharing their experiences. It is part of a series of videos that focus on the experiences of LGBT people of color.
Our Families is a community-based education project that raises the visibility of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) families of color in our communities. As part of our ongoing education campaign, we have created a short “Our Families” video that highlights the unique trials and triumphs of Native American Two Spirit LGBT families. Please join us for a special screening on Monday, November 12th at 6:00pm at the Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest (NARA – 12360 E Burnside St., Portland, Oregon). This screening will also include a panel with the courageous families who shared their stories and a fun social hour!
