Meet and Greet with Portland Mayoral candidates
Do you wish you had a chance to hear from the Mayoral candidates in person? Want to know where they stand on issues important to you? Well, here’s the perfect opportunity for you! The Q Center Advocacy Program is hosting a Mayoral candidate forum May 1st!
Basic Rights Oregon is excited to partner with the Q Center on this great event that will bring together all official candidates for Mayor of Portland. This is your chance to mingle with the candidates while helping us build political power for LBGT Oregonians by supporting candidates who support equality.
Q Center’s Executive Director Barbara McCullough-Jones will be the night’s moderator with candidates having a chance to give prepared remarks before yielding questions submitted through Q Center’s website as well as the audience in attendance.
The event will be free to everyone (although donations are very welcome!) and will be held at the Q Center.
