While June is officially Pride Month, we celebrate Pride in communities of color and in various cities all across Oregon over the next few months. As LGBTQ communities across the nation get ready to attend pride celebrations, it is important to remember the LGBTQ movement leaders like Sylvia Rivera, Marsha P. Johnson and Stormé DeLarverie who were a part of the Stonewall riots and spent a lifetime defending and fighting for LGBTQ equality.  We march and celebrate pride in the summer to commemorate the Stonewall riots and to come together as LGBTQ people to celebrate our communities and build power.

Portland Pride Festival takes place over the weekend of June 14 & June 15,  put on by Pride Northwest, and  is just around the corner and we need YOUR help!

Help us build the movement for Racial Justice, Trans Justice, and justice for all LGBTQ people in Oregon. Sign up to volunteer with us at the Portland Pride Festival (June 14-15) or march with Basic Rights Oregon in the parade!  Please select at least one shift, and check all that apply!
