Causa Coming Out Party!

Building Equality for All Latin@ Families

Causa, Oregon’s largest Latino organization and one of Basic Rights’ closest and strongest coalition partners, will be showcasing their LGBT work and the importance of and history behind creating alliances and conversations between Oregon’s LGBT and Latino community.

While always supportive of LGBT issues, Causa has been especially intentional about their work for LGBT equality, and are moving this work forward as part of their organizational identity. For the first time in Causa’s history the organization recently hired an organizer to do LGBT alliance building work within the Latino and immigrant community.

We are excited to join Causa and celebrate their “Coming Out” as an organization, while recognizing the LGBT Latino immigrant community!
