Teresa Alonso Leon is a woman of color running for House District 22, which stretches from Woodburn to the area outside Salem. She earned Basic Rights Oregon’s Equality PAC endorsement because of her commitment to fairness and equality for LGBTQ Oregonians.
As a member of her community serving on the Woodburn City Council and working for the Higher Ed. Coordinating Commission in the Office of Community College and Workforce Development, Teresa works hard to make sure the next generation of Oregonians in Woodburn and the rest of HD 22 have the resources to succeed, and she wants to bring that hard work and dedication to Salem.
Teresa is one among a small number of people of color running to represent the full breadth of Oregon’s diversity, and she’s running in a tough district. Let’s turn out for this equality-minded candidate as her campaign talks to friends and neighbors about the issues that matter to them!
