Queer Town Hall: Navigating the Post-Election Landscape
We hit the ballot boxes. Now what? We recognize that voting is one tool––and an important one!!––for fighting for change, real change, and know that we will never stop fighting alongside you.
That’s why, on Tuesday, November 17, we’re going live at noon on YouTube (https://youtu.be/9g1nYTOzO10) with our now monthly Queer Town Hall, bringing you legal experts to talk about how we can navigate Supreme Court decisions, election results, and more in support of LGBTQ equality.
Ballots are still being counted through out Oregon and the nation, Fulton vs. City of Philadelphia is making its way through the court as we speak, and we hope you’ll join us in community, because now, more than ever, this fight will take all of us.
Our panelists include:
-Beth and Jennifer Wolfsong of Wolfsong Law PC, which has a special emphasis on serving the LGBTQ community
-Lorena Reynolds of The Reynolds Law Firm, which won a recent case affirming nonbinary people’s rights to access X gender markers on their documents
-Mat Dos Santos, a Board Member from the Transgender Law Center
-Nora Broker, Attorney, Board Member & Legislative Policy Chair for OGALLA: the LGBT Bar Association of Oregon
