Queer Town Hall: QTPOC Artists & COVID

Tune in this Tuesday, June 2 at 6 p.m. on YouTube Live (https://www.youtube.com/user/BasicRights) for our live captioned Queer Town Hall featuring queer and trans people of color who are local and national artists.

Creativity and artistry can bring us together as a community, keeping us motivated and centered during a pandemic and beyond. Yet for some, creative work has been difficult and slow-moving during such a stressful time. Tune in to hear from our panelists about the work they’re doing and experience their incredible artistry during mini-performances:

-D’Lo, a Transgender, queer, Tamil Sri Lankan-American actor, writer, and comedian: https://www.dlocokid.com/

-Lakeeyscia, a Seattle & Portland-area poet, writer, and musician: Instagram: @candid.ramblings

-Lucas Smith, a Portland-area artist

Sign up to get reminders when the Queer Town Hall goes live. When you engage with the Queer Town Hall by asking a question during the livestream, you’ll be entered to win a Protect Trans Kids tote bag:
