Basic Rights Oregon and our friends at the Artists Repertory Theater are hosting Front and Center, a performance benefit featuring queer and trans artists of color!

This year our headliner will be Lexi Adsit – a fierce, fat, and femme translatina writer, storyteller, and stand-up comedian best known for her sassy, incisive feminist comedy style rooted in themes that advance social justice. She is the co-leader of the Oakland-based Peacock Rebellion, an art group centered around trans women and femmes of color. In addition to her performances, her writing has appeared in numerous publications and anthologies.

Keep an eye out as other performers are announced! You can expect to enjoy performance art, spoken word, singing, and dancing. All proceeds from the evening will go to fund the racial justice and transgender justice programs at Basic Rights Oregon.
