Intergenerational Dialogues: Storytelling as Resistance

Please join us for Intergenerational Dialogues: Storytelling as Resistance, a virtual event co-hosted by Basic Rights Oregon (BRO) and Friendly House Elder Pride Services. On Monday, September 14th, 5:30-6:30 pm, we will gather trans and gender-diverse elders and youth to share their stories and build community.

BRO staff will share about the organization’s efforts to fund youth Gender-Affirming Care in the face of federal cuts and the power of sharing your personal story to fight erasure, empower yourself, and make change. Be ready to hear stories of healthcare access through the years and our hopes for the future.

This virtual conversation is a Trans-led space that brings together transgender and gender-diverse community of all ages for a dialogue centered on shared knowledge, lived experience, and mutual support.
