Immigrant workers are the backbone of our society and today we recognize their contributions, sacrifice, and ongoing. Day Without an Immigrant is a call to demonstrate the power of immigrant communities and those who support them in Oregon by abstaining from work, school, and shopping for a day. Candidate Spotlight
Amanda Page is a flight paramedic, community member, mother, and member of the Klamath Tribes running for Deschutes County Commission.
Being ewksiknii, Amanda was raised to protect the land and take care of people. As a member of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community and mother of a queer child, she knows that taking care of people means that every community member has access to appropriate healthcare. Amanda will actively work to ensure that our Deschutes County provides public health and behavioral health services that meet the specific needs of community members.
Love,
The BRO team 🌈
